Dancing Radiance 37
What's in a name?
The details in Dancing Radiance 37 -

Dancing has been a passion of mine my entire life and now as I fall more and more in love with God I see how my relationship resembles a dance with Him leading. When we dance with Him, we no longer control our lives. We relinquish, gladly and happily, the lead to the One who knows what He is doing. The dance is beautiful, and its powerful. We can be actively engaged in purpose-filled moments that our eternal dance Partner meticulously designs.
The Lord wants to lead me. He does not intend for me to handle life by myself. His leading is the most important part of the dance, for He is taking me on a journey to His desired destination. And along the way, He will show me a new view of Himself or of my own life. But there is a cost. The new view of the Lord is available only to those who spend time with God & have experience with Him.
The dance is ALL about the heart. The heart is where the Lord engages us in an intimate exchange of love, conversation, communion, and fellowship. We respond to His overtures & are drawn into a dance where we enjoy His presence.
As we dance with Him, we learn to trust, love, pray, endure, hope, and grow. These qualities teach us more about the dance, enabling us to follow the Lord's lead through more demanding steps & movements. The movements tell the stories He is writing in the chapters of our lives.
We are in the dance with Jesus for all eternity. And just when we least expect it, He surprises us with unexpected new steps in the dance, turning us and twirling us and leading us to wonderful places.

Radiance comes from Psalm 34:5
~ Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.
I've never been one to like the plain and simple, I love shiny, sparkles, and rhinestones. When I came to know the Lord I was so excited to know that Jesus wants us to be radiant! Does that mean we should bedazzle every inch of our clothing? No, of course not. It's when we look to Him and His radiance shines on us making us radiant on the inside, in our hearts and souls. This then leads to an overflow of radiance pouring from the inside out.

37 is a number I could write a book on but for the purpose of this blog it stands for Ezekiel 37. I want to see dry bones dance.

The Lord has been putting it on my heart to start writing/blogging. For me, talking and writing what I think and feel has never been a problem. I talk & think in detail way too much. I'm not sure what this will be or how often I update it but it is now in motion.

Everyday I update my facebook status with an inspirational quote or Bible verse and I tweet no less than 2 times a day (AmyBoland37). As God has captivated & pursued me in this romance with Him, I just can't get enough of Him. I want others to know the transforming power of just a glimpse of His majesty so I tweet and facebook hoping to speak truth into at least one person's life with things that have impacted my life. What I've noticed is that people think that I have it all together and in reality I struggle with many things. I have days just like everyone else when I feel like I am sitting in the lap of the King, dancing in His radiance and I have other days when I feel like Satan has pushed me so far away from my King. I have found that it's in the darkness, when I must make a choice to believe the enemy or hold on to the hope & promises of the Creator and Lover of my soul, Sweet Jesus. This is a choice we face everyday and the decision we make reveals to us if we are really trusting God. As God is making us more and more like His son everyday, we must trust the Creator of the universe with our very lives. He wants to dance with us, always leading us to be radiant.
